5VTech are supporting a client in Paris that is searching for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the team.

This opportunity is with a specialist European engineering company that designs and manufactures high-accuracy flow measurement solutions. Their products, from ultrasonic to turbine-based systems, are used worldwide in demanding environments such as aerospace testing, energy efficiency monitoring, and transactional fuel measurement. With innovation at the core, they combine mechanical precision with advanced embedded intelligence.

What You Will Do

• Define software architectures for next-generation embedded products
• Contribute to hardware architecture alongside engineering teams
• Design, develop, and code real-time embedded software and associated tools
• Apply the full V-cycle development process, including documentation
• Carry out software integration, testing, and validation

Key Skills & Profile

• Strong background in real-time embedded C development (RTOS, ideally FreeRTOS)
• Experience with microcontrollers such at STM32
• Experience of working in highly regulated environments such as Aerospace, automotive, Medtech etc
• French citizenship
