5VTech have recently started supporting a leader in the detection of environmental gases. They support several markets, including industrial safety, gas distribution applications and methane leak detection for residential and the oil and gas sectors.

They help their clients by offering a large range of patents and expertise that enable it to develop and market NDIR sensors and industrial IoT Devices.

The business has expanded to having an international presence with offices in France and the USA and they are now looking to add a firmware engineer to the team in Grenoble.

As the new Embedded software engineer, you will be responsible for the design and and implementation of electronic and firmware solutions for their products.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Participation in the definition of firmware architecture
• Desing and developing the different BSP, Drivers and application software layers
• Develop test and production applications
• Writing technical documentation related to product development.

 
To be suitable for this position you will need these skills:

• Strong firmware and embedded software development experience in C
• Strong experience of firmware development on Microcontrollers E.g. STM, ARM Core ETC
• Fluent in French
