Full-Stack Software Engineer (Python / Typescript / React)

Location: South Austin, TX, Full-time | Hybrid

Salary: $180000 – flexible depending on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B SaaS company developing a modern AI-powered research and insights platform.

This is a full-stack role with a strong backend focus (90%), where you’ll design and build scalable systems powering a production platform used by real customers.

You’ll have high ownership, real product impact, and the opportunity to work on technically challenging, distributed systems.

What you will be doing:

• Building and owning core platform features across backend and frontend
• Designing and implementing serverless, distributed, and event-driven architectures
• Developing backend services in Python and frontend components in React / TypeScript
• Designing and optimising database schemas and data models
• Collaborating closely with product and engineering to shape what gets built
• Shipping features end-to-end through modern CI/CD pipelines

Key Skills needed:

• Strong experience in Python software engineering
• Solid experience with React and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building distributed or event-driven systems
• Experience with serverless architectures (any cloud or framework)
• Strong understanding of database design and data modelling
• Experience using Git in a collaborative development setting

Nice to have skills:

• Experience integrating with LLMs or AI tooling
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with OpenSearch or other search/indexing solutions
• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools
