You would be joining a team of experts within one of the world's most renowned companies at the forefront of tech innovation, working on projects that bring cutting-edge research to life in real-world products. Their focus is on making devices and services smarter and more user-friendly. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of AI technology for flagship mobile devices, making them even more intelligent and intuitive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with a diverse group of researchers and engineers to develop and enhance AI features from the ground up, spanning from the core framework to practical applications.
- Exploring and implementing state-of-the-art AI models across different areas, like Speech and NLP.
- Dreaming up and testing out fresh, imaginative solutions while keeping real-world practicalities in mind.
- Contributing to strong software engineering practices and actively participating in shaping software architecture and strategies.
- Staying current with the latest tools, methods, and frameworks in AI research.
- Taking the lead on important sections of assigned projects, ensuring technical excellence every step of the way.
- Taking complex ideas and translating them into detailed, workable designs.
Requirements for this position:
- You hold a Master's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- You have hands-on experience in professional C/C software development (knowledge of Python and/or Java is a plus).
- You've got a solid grounding in computer science and engineering basics, including operating systems and compilers.
- You're familiar with Android/Embedded development, AI model/framework development (TensorFlow/PyTorch), or GPGPU development (OpenCL/CUDA).
- You're comfortable with software engineering best practices and tools like Git, CI, and Agile methods.
- Your communication, teamwork, and results-driven mindset set you apart.
- You're a pro at solving problems and tracking down bugs.
