Senior Mobile & Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript / Kotlin)

Salary – £70000 (Flexible depending on experience)

We are partnering with an innovative robotics company developing cutting-edge assistive technologies that have a real-world impact on people’s lives.

They are looking for a Senior Mobile & Backend Engineer to take ownership of application development across mobile, web, and backend systems supporting next-generation robotic products.

You will join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of software, hardware, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications (Android / Kotlin) for existing products
• Build new graphical applications for next-generation systems (React.js, Node.js, Fastify)
• Design and maintain backend architecture (APIs, databases, services)
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks (with a strong focus on full test automation)
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and testing

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in TypeScript and Node.js (backend & frontend)
• Experience developing mobile applications (Android / Kotlin)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with Docker and modern backend architectures
