I'm working with a fast-growing AI startup that’s building a platform to help enterprises unlock and share knowledge more effectively. Backed by experienced leadership and already gaining traction with major customers, they’re now looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the team on a contract-to-hire basis.

As an SDR, you’ll be on the front line of the sales motion—prospecting, qualifying leads, and building relationships with potential customers. You’ll play a key role in shaping outbound strategy and setting the stage for successful sales conversations. This role is high-energy, hands-on, and perfect for someone eager to learn, competitive by nature, and excited about working in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect into target accounts through email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads and set discovery calls for the sales team
  • Research accounts and decision-makers to personalize messaging
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM (HubSpot)
  • Collaborate with marketing to improve campaigns and outreach strategies
  • Share customer and market feedback with the go-to-market and product teams
  • Help build and refine scripts, cadences, and the SDR playbook

Experience & Skills

  • 0–2 years in sales, customer service, or similar roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
  • Familiar with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce (or quick to learn)
  • Bonus: experience in SaaS, B2B sales, or startups
