Join a tight-knit, experienced engineering team designing and building mission-critical UPS systems right here in Austin.

This is a chance to step into a newly created role at a global manufacturer whose technology keeps critical infrastructure running 24/7 in industries like data centers, healthcare, transport, and defense. Their systems provide clean, battery-free backup power using advanced flywheel energy storage technology, a greener, longer-lasting alternative to traditional UPS batteries.

What You’ll Do

• Design, maintain, and enhance embedded firmware for power control systems.
• Write and optimize C code for real-time applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field issues (e.g., Modbus communication, bearing failure detection).
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, and mechanical engineers on integrated solutions.
• Support both new product features and ongoing product maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

• Multiple years of embedded firmware experience.
• Strong background in C programming for embedded microprocessor systems.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Background in power electronics or similar control systems.
