We are seeking a Senior HPC Engineer to join an agile DevOps team. You’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing an HPC platform vital to Clinical Pharmacology.. As part of a dynamic team, you will:

• Design, deploy, and maintain HPC applications and services on private and public cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage scientific workflows leveraging open-source and vendor software to support computational research.
• Provide operational support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and implement best practices for efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee infrastructure, user engagement, and GitHub workspace configuration for seamless cloud integration.
• Optimize application performance, maintain documentation, and mentor team members.

Key Requirements

• Expertise in operating large-scale computing environments (HPC, HTC, or BC), ideally in Life Sciences.
• Proficiency in Linux, networking (TCP/IP), and storage subsystems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Bash, Python, and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Singularity) and schedulers (Kubernetes, Nomad).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus), and scientific tools like Nonmem, MATLAB, or R.
• Strong understanding of test-driven development and performance tuning for HPC environments.
