We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to generate detailed architecture design across a range of products that deliver top-tier “Root of Trust” security into IoT edge nodes:

• Embedded Software running on microcontrollers to ensure the security information and integrity of the Software Development Organisations is maintained,
• Desktop tools to be used by Software Development companies to define the security of their product offering and enable the integration of these within their embedded IoT devices,

Key skills required for the position:

• Experience in a high-level Software Engineer or Systems Engineer position, with experience using UML or similar tools,
• Ability to communicate technical information to all levels, from customers and Senior Management to Software Engineers and Developers,
• Excellent skills in requirements gathering, turning these into detailed engineering requirements, and documentation,
• A background in either Embedded Software Development (C/C ), or application development (C#).

Roles and responsibilities:

• To work closely with the Head System/Software Architect to define the architecture of current and proposed products, and guide the Engineers with implementation,
• To work together with Architects, Engineering teams, and product management to: Develop the initial requirements into detailed, implementable product requirements, to remediate any technical issues uncovered during the development and commissioning, and ensure the architecture is defined to enable product implementation.
