This leading semiconductor company are pioneers in intelligent wireless technology that solves complex challenges and brings game-changing IoT solutions to life with their wireless MCU SoCs featuring embedded CPUs, advanced security, power management, and radios supporting protocols like Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread, and Matter.

They are searching for an experienced Staff-level FPGA Prototyping Engineer to join their high-impact team in Austin and take a vital role in the development of their FPGA emulation platform to take pre-silicon verification, validation, and software development to the next level.

You Will Be...

• Designing, developing, and delivering FPGA emulation platforms with internal stakeholders;
• Developing FPGA models for digital and analog bocks;
• Collaborating with software teams to deliver advanced prototyping capabilities;
• Developing automated methodologies to enhance scalability;
• Gathering requirements to architect new emulation platform features.

If You Have...

• Strong and proven experience in FPGA prototyping and emulation in the Semiconductor industry;
• Experience with techniques like Logic Synthesis and Place & Route using tools like Vivado;
• Good understanding of timing topics such as Clock Domain Crossing and Static Timing Analysis;
• Bonus: Xilinx Ultrascale, Lab Testing, Scripting Languages, Version Control, Jenkins, Embedded C, PCB knowledge, Chip integration...
