5VTech have recently started working with a European industrial instrumentation group. They have are looking for a Systems Project Manager to join the team in Paris.

This company manufactures components, measurement equipment, observation and detection systems for critical and scientific applications.

They work across many sectors including Space, Nuclear, Life Sciences and Health. They work on both research and development projects on behalf of customers and the development of projects for their own product line.

Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a project manager who has a strong background in systems engineering and preferably electronics or embedded systems.

The department you will join is responsible for the development, qualification and industrialization of products before they go in to mass production. In this role you will be responsible for project management for a range of clients for this department.

Responsibilities include:

• Writing project management plans (V cycle)
• Launching of projects by analysing customer needs and specifications
• Risk analysis
• Trigger and monitor supplies.

Key skills:

• Experience with at least 1 of the following areas: System Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or Embedded Systems
• Strong experience in project management
• Ability to understand technical requirements
