5V Tech is working in partnership with a company in Ingolstadt, Germany, and looking for a skilled System/Software Architect to join their growing team, on a remote basis. They provide software for one of the biggest automotive brands in Germany, and are looking for an experienced Software/System Architect to support them in project planning, error and release management as well as integration of testing on the test benches.

Having experience or a good understanding of software tools will be necessary in order to efficiently design, coordinate, and optimize the architectures and concepts in the Vehicle motion area at all levels. This includes the use of UML-based tools and diagnostic tools (SYSML, XML), requirements tools (Jira, CodeBeamer), system description (ARXML), and others (Confluence, Github, PreeVision, PureVariants).

This role is 95% remote, meaning you would only have to go on-site once every few months, therefore living in any other European country would be acceptable as long as you can travel.


Responsibilities:

• Accompany the variation of the architecture
• Work with the other architects within the company with regard to the requirements (on a logical and technical level)
• Work with various tools such as diagnostic tools (SYSML, XML), requirements tools (Jiora, CodeBeamer), system descriptions (ARXML), and others (Confluence, Github, PreeVision, PureVariants)

Key Requirements:

• Extended knowledge in the field of function development, software structuring, and professional experience working with functional and logical architecture levels
• Fluency in German (business fluent or native)
• Be proactive, have a supportive way of working, and be solution-oriented
