Design Verification Lead Engineer

Location: Remote, US

We’re supporting a growing technology startup that is building next-generation AI accelerators for edge and embedded devices.

Their products are designed to deliver high performance and efficiency in everyday applications, from consumer electronics to automotive systems.

As the Design Verification Lead Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring first-silicon success. You’ll be responsible for defining the verification environment, driving methodology, and leading chip bring-up. This is a chance to step into a technical leadership role where your work will directly influence the success of a new family of hardware products.

What You’ll Do

• Define, implement, and maintain a reusable UVM-based verification environment
• Develop and execute coverage-driven test plans to validate design specifications
• Analyze functional and code coverage, driving closure with the design team
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure smooth pre- to post-silicon handoff
• Lead chip bring-up and debug system-level issues on first silicon

What We’re Looking For

• Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and Python
• Proven experience building coverage-driven verification environments
• 7+ years of product verification, including power domain features
• Strong understanding of processor architecture and standard I/O protocols
• Clear communicator with cross-functional team experience
• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
