Senior Electronics Design Engineer (Medical Devices)

Join a mission-driven team advancing precision radiotherapy and imaging by designing safety-critical electronics. We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Electronics Design Consultant with deep PCB design expertise to deliver new products and sustain existing platforms to the highest medical standards.

What you’ll do...

• Translate system requirements into specifications, models, and schematics; simulate, prototype, verify, and iterate.
• Lead PCB design in Altium and drive multidisciplinary reviews.
• Develop digital electronic circuitry and embedded building blocks, including FPGA/PSoC-based modules.
• Create and maintain test strategies: test specifications, fixtures, execution, reporting, and requirements traceability.
• Produce clear, compliant technical documentation across all development stages.
• Contribute to model-based design workflows (MATLAB/Simulink highly desirable).
• Apply Agile/Scrum practices and champion continuous improvement in a regulated environment (ISO 13485/IEC 60601 mindset).

What you bring...

• Strong experience designing production-grade electronics for regulated industries (medical preferred).
• Strong PCB design track record in Altium, from concept to release and sustaining.
• Proven ability to convert high-level requirements into digital electronics architectures, run simulations, build rapid prototypes, and execute structured verification.
• Experience with FPGA or PSoC systems (toolchains, RTL/HDL fundamentals, timing/constraints, verification).
• Embedded know-how with FreeRTOS and/or other RTOS; familiarity with firmware-hardware co-design.
• Bonus: model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink), safety/risk management (ISO 14971), EMC and safety test exposure.
