Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer

Location: Silicon Valley (Hybrid/Onsite)

We’re working with a stealth-stage startup building ultra-low-power embedded AI platforms for next-gen consumer and industrial devices.

They’re looking for a hands-on Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer to design and ship embedded reference systems around custom SoCs. This is a high-ownership role in a small engineering team. You’ll take projects from schematic through bring-up, firmware, validation, and customer support.

What you’ll do

• Design embedded hardware end-to-end (architecture → PCB → bring-up)
• Write bare-metal firmware and drivers (C/C++)
• Debug hardware/firmware using lab tools
• Build validation platforms and support customer designs
• Own fast-turn prototype systems and low-volume production

Must have

• Shipped multiple embedded hardware designs you personally owned
• Strong Embedded C/C++
• ARM Cortex-M and/or RISC-V
• Ultra-low-power system design
• SPI / I2C / UART / I2S
• Mixed-signal or audio hardware
• Board bring-up + rework skills
• Comfortable in startup environments

Nice to have

• Python automation
• Bluetooth/audio SoCs
• Embedded AI or accelerators
• FPGA exposure
• Open-source contributions
