5V Tech is working in partnership with a fast-growing and innovative start-up, in Barcelona. They are on a mission to empower educators and students with intelligent solutions that enhance learning experiences and outcomes. As a rapidly growing startup, we value creativity, collaboration, and a passion for making a meaningful impact in the world of education.

They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer with great skills in UI/UX design principles to join their dynamic team. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface of their AI-powered educational tools.
You will work closely with a cross-functional team to create intuitive, user-centric designs that make complex AI technologies accessible and engaging for educators and learners.

For this position, having previously designed education products, worked in education or in AI, will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to execution for our AI education tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications for new features and enhancements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with proven expertise
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Experience designing for complex, data-rich applications and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Highly proficient in UI/UX design principles and be able to apply them effectively
• Passion for education and AI, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Fluent in English

Ideally, past experience of working in a start-up environment, or in education, woud be a huge bonus.
