5V Tech is representing a high-growth Smart Energy Management scale-up based in Amsterdam. They are at the forefront of the zero-emission revolution, providing an integrated software platform that optimizes EV charging, battery storage, and solar energy to overcome modern grid limitations.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead their Dutch market expansion. This is a consultative, solution-led role requiring a mix of technical knowledge and commercial sharp-shooting.

Day-to-Day:

• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the sales process from identifying high-value prospects to closing complex, long-term contracts.

• Strategic Advisory: Act as a "Trusted Advisor" to corporate clients, translating complex energy challenges (grid constraints, fleet electrification) into seamless integrated solutions.

• Portfolio Growth: Proactively manage and expand existing strategic accounts while converting a strong pipeline of incoming warm leads.

• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a consistent, professional, and inspiring customer journey.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor shifting regulations and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and identify new revenue streams.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in B2B sales or account management, specifically within EV Charging, Energy Management, or high-level SaaS.

• Proven track record in complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations and solution-oriented selling.

• Professional fluency in both Dutch and English is essential for this territory.

• A strong understanding of the EV ecosystem, renewable energy integration, or smart hardware.

• A data-driven approach to pipeline management (HubSpot or similar) with high attention to detail.
