Do you want your work to directly contribute to meaningful, real-world impact?

Our client is scaling internationally and is looking for a proactive QA Engineer to help strengthen quality across their interactive technology platform. Their products are designed for vulnerable user groups, meaning reliability, stability, and usability are absolutely critical.

This is not a “ticket-closing” QA role. This is an opportunity to build, improve, and shape quality processes in a growing, purpose-driven tech environment.

You will take ownership of QA across a multidisciplinary product landscape that includes:

  • Interactive hardware
  • Embedded systems
  • Software applications

You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure releases are smooth, stable, and user-ready. Beyond testing, you will actively contribute to debugging hardware and embedded issues, supporting root-cause analysis, and strengthening overall product robustness.

This role suits someone who understands how systems interact , and enjoys ensuring they perform flawlessly together.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Establish and improve QA processes across hardware, embedded systems, and software

  • Perform hands-on manual and automated testing
  • Support debugging and root-cause analysis in hardware and embedded environments
  • Define and execute structured test plans for new features and releases
  • Identify usability risks and product edge cases early
  • Track, document, and follow up on defects
  • Contribute to building scalable test automation frameworks
  • Act as a quality advocate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Continuously improve ways of working and release processes

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in QA, testing, or development
  • Experience or strong affinity with hardware and/or embedded systems
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style
  • Confidence to help build QA frameworks from the ground up
  • Basic experience with test automation tools (or strong willingness to learn)
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Proactive, hands-on, and ownership-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional, international teams
  • Backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer engineering, embedded systems, or software engineering are all welcome.

What’s On Offer

  • 32–36 hours per week (40 negotiable)
  • A high-impact role in an innovative tech environment
  • The opportunity to contribute to products with genuine social value
  • A collaborative, fast-growing international team
  • Professional yet informal working culture
  • Travel reimbursement, holiday allowance & pension scheme
  • 25 vacation days (full-time)
  • Strong focus on personal and professional development
