• Salary: $180,000-$240,000 (DOE)

A cutting-edge deep-tech company is developing a new generation of ultra-efficient AI technology designed to bring intelligent capabilities directly onto everyday devices. Their platform combines advanced machine learning with embedded systems and hardware acceleration, enabling low-latency, energy-efficient AI across applications ranging from consumer electronics to robotics and autonomous systems.

They are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Audio Machine Learning Engineer who can contribute to the development and optimization of advanced audio AI models and real-world deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and evaluating deep learning models for audio processing tasks
• Working on applications such as speech enhancement, noise reduction, sound event detection, and localization
• Contributing to model optimization, compression, and efficiency improvements for embedded deployment
• Analyzing multi-sensor audio data and evaluating model performance
• Building research prototypes and scalable evaluation pipelines
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across research, software, and hardware engineering
• Supporting deployment, testing, and validation of models in production environments

Ideal Profile:

• Senior-level experience in machine learning, deep learning, or audio signal processing
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in frameworks such as PyTorch
• Solid understanding of DSP concepts and audio processing techniques
• Experience with model training, evaluation, and optimization workflows
• Familiarity with embedded systems or efficient ML deployment is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
