Technical Account Manager

• €70 000 (incl 8% holiday allowance) + 13th month + performance bonus

• Permanent, full-time contract (Standard Dutch model - 12 months initial FTC, then transferred to Permanent contract)

5V Tech are supporting a fast-growing technology company operating across IoT, smart buildings, and energy optimisation.

They are looking for a Technical Account Manager to act as the main point of contact for key customers, bridging the gap between technical solutions and real-world building performance.

You will play a key role in ensuring successful delivery, while also developing long-term, partnership-led relationships and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Key responsibilities / day-to-day:

• Act as the primary technical contact for key customers

• Support onboarding, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of the platform

• Translate technical concepts into clear, business-focused outcomes

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve performance

• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact

• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through a consultative approach

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical account management, solutions, or customer-facing technical role

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• Background in IoT, smart buildings, or building management systems

• Strong technical affinity, comfortable working with APIs and handling data formats such as JSON or MQTT

• Experience selling or managing customers within smart buildings, ideally in a partnership-led model

• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor

• International mindset, comfortable working across different markets and cultures
