5V Tech is looking for a skilled Android Developer with solid experience in streaming and OTT application development to join our client's team. You’ll work on cutting-edge mobile products, ensuring high-performance streaming experiences from concept to release.

Day-to-day:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android streaming applications with a focus on clean architecture, low latency, and scalability.

• Take projects through the full lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and post-launch iterations.

• Collaborate with UX, backend, and product teams to deliver seamless live and on-demand video streaming experiences.

• Implement video/audio streaming protocols and integrate DRM and content protection measures.

• Ensure best practices for adaptive bitrate streaming, caching, and offline playback.

• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring for streaming apps.

• Stay up to date with OTT technologies, streaming standards, and Android development trends.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Android development experience.

• Proven expertise in streaming/OTT application development with technologies such as HLS, DASH, ExoPlayer, Widevine DRM, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern Android development practices.

• Experience building and deploying apps to the Google Play Store.

• Solid understanding of clean architecture principles (MVVM/MVI).

• Familiarity with automated testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization for streaming apps.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

• Experience with libraries and tools such as Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, Jetpack Compose, Coroutine/Flow, or similar.
