5V Tech is supporting an innovative SaaS and IoT scale-up is expanding its commercial team to accelerate growth across transport, construction, and industrial sectors.

With a rapidly growing customer base and ambitious plans for the coming years, they are looking for a Business Developer to take ownership of sales activity across France and neighbouring markets.

This is an opportunity to join a business that designs both its own hardware and software, helping clients improve performance, manage costs, and achieve sustainability goals.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing.

• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with technical and support teams to ensure client success.

• Provide insights from the field to shape product development, demos, and go-to-market strategy.

• Conduct B2B sales "boots on the ground", meeting customers who might not be active on traditional online platforms.

• Represent the company at industry events and regional networks.

You are a strong fit if you have:

• B2B sales experience, ideally within SaaS or IoT, and within the fleet industry.

• A proven track record in end-to-end sales cycles.

• Strong technical curiosity and able to understand and explain innovative solutions.

• Excellent relationship-building skills and a consultative, solution-driven approach.

• Independence, structure, and confidence in managing priorities.
