DFT Engineer

Sèvres (92) - Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days work from home
Grenoble (Remote) - MUST go to the Paris office a few days a month
Permanent contract
Up to €65 000, dependant on relevant experience

5V Tech is working in partnership with an FPGA company in the Paris area, supporting them in finding a skilled DFT Engineer, to continue ensuring the success of the company and its growth.

Job Duties:

- Define and implement the Design for Test (DFT) strategy for complex System-on-Chip FPGAs across various technology node
- Document, implement, verify and debug DFT integration
- Understand system problematic and ensure constraints are taken into consideration during the specification phase
- Take part in SoC design, verification, test, validation, implementation and architecture reviews
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams to develop and maintain a robust DFT flow throughout the design cycle.

Skills Required:

- Proven experience working as a DFT Engineer or Hardware Test Engineer / Digital Design Engineer / Verification Engineer
- Experience in RTL simulation/verification and associated environments.
- Understanding of ATPG concepts and DFT implementation in complex ICs (e.g., Multi-Core SoCs).
- Familiarity with MBIST, JTAG, and Boundary Scan functions.
- Strong scripting skills and knowledge of STIL.

Bonus points for:

- Tenacity in debugging simulations, scripts, and test logs.
- Ability to manage large code bases (HDL).
